Twiga Cement, officially known as Tanzania Portland Cement Public Limited Company (TPC PLC), is the leading cement manufacturer in Tanzania. Established in 1966, it produces high-quality cement products under the Twiga brand, including Twiga Extra, Twiga Plus, Twiga Ordinary, and Twiga Mega. The company operates a factory located on Wazo Hill, approximately 18 km northwest of Dar es Salaam. As of 2020, Twiga Cement is a subsidiary of the Heidelberg Materials Group, a global leader in the building materials industry.
