The Association of African Higher Education Financing Agencies (AAHEFA) is a continental network of student-loan and scholarship institutions across Africa. Established in 2008 and headquartered in Dar es Salaam, AAHEFA provides a platform for its member agencies to share best practices, build capacity, mobilize resources, and advocate for sustainable models of higher education financing.

Its mission is to support access to higher education by strengthening financing agencies through research, policy dialogue, technical assistance, and by developing innovative tools and systems for funding higher education
