ActionAid Tanzania (AATZ) is a development organization committed to social justice, gender equality, and the eradication of poverty. Established in 1998 as a cross-border initiative by ActionAid Kenya, it evolved into a full-fledged country program in 2000. AATZ is an associate member of the global ActionAid International Federation, which operates in various countries to promote sustainable development and advocate for the rights of marginalized communities.
